The new year has heralded all sorts of beginnings for the Witchcliffe Ecovillage team, including the exciting addition of two new staff members: Jeff and Jo Thierfelder. A husband and wife duo, they individually bring a wealth of professional skills and experience to the team, which boost our overall capability, capacity and support the substantial work that is already well underway in turning our unique vision from paper plans into built reality on the ground.
As Project Manager for Planning and Architecture, Jeff is playing a crucial role in meeting the project’s ongoing planning requirements; liaising with the Shire and other statutory bodies; designing houses and public buildings, planning urban spaces and streetscapes, engaging with suppliers and builders, as well as a myriad of other important functions.
Jo’s job is to tell the world about our extraordinary vision for a sustainable, beautiful residential community in the town of Witchcliffe. As Communications and Marketing Manager, Jo is leading the efforts to develop a media and marketing presence, engage with prospective residents and the wider community, communicate with our loyal followers, garner interest and sales from new quarters, and partner with like-minded organisations through events and sponsorship.
